A song inspired by someone's Twitter musings about their dislike of the phrase 'you stole my girlfriend'. Turned into a(nother) rather cathartic break-up song!

We agree that you can’t steal a person
But you can take their safety net

I understood your need to move on
I got that my actions lacked care
But of everyone I thought you’d know
Yet at my lowest you weren’t there

But I needed you too much myself
All you had to do to get it right

It’s a useful, lazy, way to vent
